PROKLA, officially PROKLA: Journal for Critical Social Science (German: PROKLA: Zeitschrift für kritische Sozialwissenschaft) is a German-language Marxist delayed open-access journal publishing in the fields of sociology, social history, political science, political economy, ecology, critical theory, international and social relations. The journal was founded by Elmar Altvater in 1970 as Problems of Class Struggle (German: Probleme des Klassenkampfs) and published its first issue in 1971.
