Plas Power railway station

[edit]
Moved from User talk:Useddenim
You have asked the question..."Why do you show Plas Power as a passenger station?"
My evidence for this is contained in the 9-page fully detailed "Disused Railways" article on this station and I refer you to the second page of this article which states that the first passenger train departed from Plas Power station for Wrexham Central departed at 8.07am on the day of opening,1st August 1889 The first timetable had four daily trains in each direction on weekdays and two addition trains to this ran in each direction on Saturdays. In 1891, there will still four passenger trains in each direction.

RESPONSE..... On the second page of the article is an image of a Third Class (Parliamentary) journey ticket number 8684 from Plas Power to Wrexham Central. price 2d, that was issued on 17th October 1903.

On the third page of the article is a June 1906 Bradshaw timetable (Wrexham to Brymbo) where Plas Power station is clearly shown.

As I understand matters, Wikipedia requires such readily available information to view and I am sure that the well-respected Disused Railways information is most certainly such published matter.

I trust that you will accept my explanation and now show the symbol on the template as that for a passenger station once again. Paul Sidorczuk (talkcontribs) 08:35, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
