I have just added West Berk and Gob-y-Deigan stations to the template and it's starting to get really long. May I suggest that we reduce the IoMR Peel line to stubs in both directions? This will I feel clarify the station names as well as making the diagram shorter. The peel line is covered by template:Peel line anyway. I suggest that the Foxdale railway is left on as this was operated by the MNR. Could I also ask where the information for Pulrose halt came from please? It needs to go on template:Peel line as well. Hi WW. I agree with you and also suggest that that the route from the MNR to the FR be straightend out, with the route to the joint station and its connections being kinked instead. The line to Douglas could still be fed under the FR showing this unique relationship on the insular railway system. At the same time, the opportunity could be used to amend the line colour to a pale red denoting that it is a closed 'non-metro' rail system. In addition I think there is a border symbol that could be used to demarcate the boundary between the MNR and FR.
I have looked up Pulrose in Boyd's Isle of Man trilogy and it receives mention in volumes 2 and 3. In no case is there mention of a station or even a halt. There was a level crossing replaced by a bridge in the 1930s and a siding used for the unloading of Foxdale mine waste which was utilised in the making of the local sports ground. Thanks for the info about pulrose, Oxonhutch; with regards to the colours, I think the use of colour is helpful here, especially as there is a key. If you click on Legend however, it rather implies that the MNR was a metro system (I have pointed this out in the past - see talk:Manx Northern Railway#Line/route map).
