Owen Daniels[edit]

The final year of Daniels' contract has voided, thus making him a restricted free agent this offseason.[1]Chris NelsonHolla! 00:50, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

question[edit]

shouldn't Trindon Holiday be listed under special teams as "return specialist" since he doesn't actually play wide receiver? IIRC, he only had like 6 receptions in college and was used at WR probably only on about 20 plays his entire career. I'm doubting he'll suddenly become a WR now that he's in the NFL. Even though the Texans website lists him at WR, would they really put a 5 foot 5 150 lb guy at WR? RF23 (talk) 21:42, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that only his individual roster page on the texans website and the team roster actual list him at WR. Everywhere else he's mentioned on the site as a return specialist. RF23 (talk) 21:46, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
We don't generally do that. If WR is his "position" then we'll list him there and then put KR or PR or RS next to his name come the preseason. Pats1 T/C 22:47, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I Think it would make more sense to clarify between a WR or RB or whatever who happens to return kicks and a guy who just returns kicks. Or maybe it could be done similar to how the AFL roster templates are, where if a player plays more than one position, they are listed under "Multiple positions", but actually- that wouldn't work as well since not many NFL players play more than 1 position- unlike the AFL.
