Icon?
[edit]Why is the |noicon=false
/|noicon=no
version of this template displaying nothing? Or is it just me (I have tested in a vanilla browser, with no ad blocker, etc))? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 22:02, 10 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Pigsonthewing: It'd designed so that you can use it alongside the noicon parameter of Module:WikidataIB - so if you set noicon=True and pass it to both the module and this template, and you'll only see this template; pass noicon=False and this template will be hidden while will show next to the items fetched from Wikidata in the infobox. I'll add that to the documentation. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 22:12, 10 September 2017 (UTC)

Switch to Module:WikidataIB

Please switch to Module:WikidataIB as per sandbox.
This is more performant since it uses mw.wikibase.getEntityIdForCurrentPage()
instead of the expensive mw.wikibase.getEntityObject()
but even more importantly Module:Wikidata is deprecated having been unmaintained for several years. Thank you, Uzume (talk) 06:10, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Uzume: Thanks for spotting this, the change is now made. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 08:12, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
