  • Comment: First time submitting a DYK with this new format, someone tell me if I screwed up. I started editing the article on July 31 but the actual expansion clearly began on August 5. The relevant text for the hook begins at "On average, women spent $111 a year in MMOs" in the article.

Just need to address the referencing issues. Crisco 1492 (talk) 05:18, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I commented out the two "citation needed tags" since I do agree that those facts need to be sourced before including them (I did not write those sentences). For the two remaining unsourced paragraphs, they were already in the article before I started editing, as well, and yet they are crucial to better understanding the article's core concepts, so I'm in a bit of a bind here. I'd prefer leaving them there since they don't particularly mention anything that a reader would normally challenge, per WP:V, and since I plan on eventually bringing the article to Good Article status (all the content that I added myself to the article is already sourced, so it's only a matter of performing the research necessary to replace those unsourced paragraphs). Thoughts? Gary King (talk · scripts) 05:34, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The current consensus is minimum one citation per paragraph, so... looks like you have a bit of research ahead you. Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:06, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay fair enough, I'll get right on it. Gary King (talk · scripts) 20:57, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Looking at the article, I now see a reference on every paragraph, and the one reference that I checked looked fine. So if that was the only thing holding up final approval it should be gtg. Sharktopus talk 18:24, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You're right. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:42, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
