Impossible to read
[edit]The small text for some infrastructure is impossible to read in this template when viewed on a Mac with Firefox. I spent 10 minutes correcting only to be reverted. If some infrastructure is more important than others they should be bolded, like they are. Nomadtales 20:52, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- Some editors like to do route maps with the the two text sixes, and bold on the large (well normal) text for the stations. The consensus on how route maps should be done can be found at WP:TRAIL. Please go there and post a screen shot to demonstrate the usability (well visibility!) problems your are experiencing with your setup. The techie people there who understand the behind the scenes stuff should be able to give an answer. Its been resolved before when the we had problems with the disability icon ;) Pickle 02:43, 5 September 2007 (UTC
- This sounds like a presentation issue. Hoping fixing the the stylesheet can solve it, rather than losing the markup. —Sladen 07:06, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Here is a screen grab of what it looks like on my Mac. Just to confirm it looks fine using Firefox on a PC. I will raise it at WP:TRAIL to see what can be done to fix the view on Macs. Nomadtales 07:17, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Interesting, one immediately visible artifact: there's no anti-aliasing or font hinting happening on the text (size issues aside). I wonder if these not enabled by default, of if there is preference somewhere that has been altered; Mac OSX is generally known for using anti-aliasing everywhere, so I wonder if it's an Firefox-on-OSX specific thing (or even a specific case of config options). It might be worth trying
about:config
in the browser URL bar, then narrowing down the search list by enteringfont
to see if there are any config options that are not their default values, or which can be tweaked. —Sladen 07:43, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

V/D/E
[edit]Should there not be V/D/E links as this is a template? 202.89.152.202 07:21, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Thameslink tunnels
[edit]I realise that it is very difficult to represent all the planned and actual lines around Kings Cross/St Pancras, but I would have thought it more sensible to include a line actually in use (ie the Thameslink link to the Midland Main Line) and miss out the planned link to the East Coast Main line (not due for at least 5 years). This also simplifies the diagram—these lines are, in any case, not directly relevant to the CTRL.
