Windham Bay
[edit]- ...
that in Windham Bay in Alaska oil is being recovered from the bay area, close to the shore, also using snare line or Sorbent boom?

- Date, length good. Hook problem: the "snare line or Sorbent boom" is a recovery method in case of an oil spill. The hook makes it sound like there is recovery of spilled oil going on right now, which, from my reading of the ref, is incorrect. The ref is a response plan for potential spills. If there is a current spill, this needs a new ref. The oil bit in the article should be rewritten with this in mind, and we need a new hook. The Interior (Talk) 03:07, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
- I've removed the "snare line or Sorbent boom" recovery sentences as they're not necessary. I've struck out the original hook and am offering ALT1: ... that Alaska's gold production began after the 1869 discovery of gold placers in Windham and Sumdum Bays? --Rosiestep (talk) 03:46, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for your changes, Rosiestep. ALT 1 verified, more interesting than the original. The Interior (Talk) 20:35, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
