William Orr (trade unionist)

[edit]
  • ... that Australian trade union organiser William Orr was charged with incitement to murder after advising striking coal miners to arm themselves?

5x expanded by Yunshui (talk). Self nominated at 10:51, 5 April 2013 (UTC).

  • Article is 5x expanded according to DYK check, the article is more than required length, it is an interesting hook too and it meets requirements.  — AARONTALK 17:09, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
That's a nice idea - be good if we could find some sort of ALT hook that was similar for both (I notice they were both Scotsmen by birth, perhaps something around that?). Wonder if they ever met? Yunshui  10:18, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Yes, I like that. Concise and witty. Yunshui  09:34, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Reiterating Aaron's approval from three weeks ago so it's more visible. Since the other Orr's nomination has been rejected, there's no reason for this one to wait any longer; striking the proposed joint hook. Also striking ALT1, which is boring and was never reviewed.
