Will Brooke (businessman)

[edit]

Moved to mainspace by Jayehubb (talk), ThaddeusB (talk). Nominated by ThaddeusB (talk) at 00:41, 8 June 2014 (UTC).

  • Long enough, new enough, no copyvios found, QPQ done. I'm not crazy about the hook; I read a lot of Obamacare bashing in the press, and I'm not sure if people would think "so what" and move along. Is there a another hook you can come up with?--Launchballer 09:44, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
  • I'm open to suggestions but I don't think you'll get something super interesting out of this article. The suggested hook is a pretty pithy comment, IMO, and would generate at least some interest. My only other suggestion would be:
ALT1 ... that businessman Will Brooke finished 5th out of 7 candidates a recent Alabama primary race despite being endorsed by former governor Bob Riley?
which might have more appeal in Alabama, but less national appeal. --ThaddeusB (talk) 21:12, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Hmm. Let me sleep on it.--Launchballer 21:21, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Okay, I'm happy to accept the original ALT.--Launchballer 08:45, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
Could you clarify? "Original alt" is a bit ambiguous - I assume you mean the original hook (Obamacare), but presumably it could also mean first alt (5th place). --ThaddeusB (talk) 14:36, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
You are correct to assume. Is calling it ALT0 clear enough?--Launchballer 21:06, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
