White Horse Pagoda, Dunhuang
[edit]- ... that the White Horse Pagoda, Dunhuang, was built to commemorate "Tianliu", the white horse of the monk Kumarajiva, which carried Buddhist scriptures all the way from Kucha to Dunhuang in China, c. 384 CE?
