  • Hook verified, 5x expansion confirmed per DYKcheck. However; there is still vast potential for improvement. For a start; many of the older refs given are available online (like Pliny, 1855, vol 1, p. 404, The Eastern Libyans (pageno. is presently not given)....however, that is not (presently) in the article. And the hook is based on Affairs of West Africa, p. 141-142. However, if you read that, you see that the first person to suggest that the Leucæthiopian could be Fulani, was in fact James Rennell, in his appendix in Mungo Parks 1799 version of Travels in the Interior Districts of Africa.
