Sri Lankan cricket team in India in 1997–98
[edit]- ... that on Christmas Day in 1997, a One Day International between India and Sri Lanka became the first international cricket match to be called off because of a dangerous pitch?

- The article is of 1651 (above the minimum limit), hook is cited in the article and is sourced. However, in the article it is stated that "The other ODI, which was held on 25 December, was abandoned after three overs had been bowled, as the pitch was considered too dangerous." - this doesn't give the reason why. Perhaps, from the source, can you add up something that the captions considered it to be dangerous for the players to play?
