Murder of Shao Tong

[edit]
  • Reviewed: Cut Like Wound
  • Comment: This is another one with several dates that I have in mind. The most obvious is September 7, one year from the day police (in both China and the U.S.) believe he killed her. If that doesn't work, with a little amendment there's September 17 (a year from the day she was reported missing) and finally September 26 (a year from the day her body was found).

  • Article is new enough, long enough, and well referenced. Hook facts are verified, but I'm afraid it may be unduly negative for the main page. The boyfriend has not been convicted, so I don't think his name should be splashed on the main page. We can, I think, mention that the victim's boyfriend is the main suspect without naming him. Also, the QPQ is incomplete. The approved hook was pulled for similar unduly negative BLP issues and a new hook has been proposed, which still needs to be reviewed. -Zanhe (talk) 06:27, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
@Zanhe: I have appropriately reworded the hook. As for the QPQ, should I do another one in the meantime? Daniel Case (talk) 02:35, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
Thanks, the new hook looks much better. I see you've made new comments on the QPQ page. You don't need to do a new QPQ, just review the new ALT2 that has been proposed, which should be quite straightforward. -Zanhe (talk) 06:55, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
I see that you've reviewed ALT2 for Cut Like Wound and proposed a new ALT3 hook. As you're not allowed to review your own hook, your QPQ review is now complete, and this nomination is good to go. -Zanhe (talk) 21:51, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
