Lawang Sewu, Lawang Sewu: Dendam Kuntilanak
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that Lawang Sewu: Kuntilanak's Vengeance was based on ghost stories surrounding a former railroad office (pictured)?
- ALT1:... that Lawang Sewu: Kuntilanak's Vengeance was described by a critic as "truly 'raping'" the landmark depicted (pictured)?

- Length, date, hook checks out. However the 'plot' section in the Dendam Kuntilanak article is unreferenced. Also, I'd suggest a ALT2: ... that the 2007 horror movie Lawang Sewu: Kuntilanak's Vengeance was described by a critic as "truly 'raping'" the landmark depicted (pictured)?

- Per Supplementary Guideline D2, "A rule of thumb is one inline citation per paragraph, excluding the intro, plot summaries, and paragraphs which summarize other cited content." (emphasis mine). As such, by DYK rules it is fine. As a side note, even featured articles such as The Human Centipede (First Sequence) don't need to have the plot referenced; it is implied that the work itself is the source.
- Regarding the hook, I don't see the benefit of having the year and genre there, as it is extraneous information not related to the hook fact. Crisco 1492 (talk) 10:35, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

- Indonesian sources AGF. I suggest to reword ALT1, though:
- ALT3:... that Lawang Sewu: Kuntilanak's Vengeance was described by a critic as "truly 'raping' an icon of Semarang", Lawang Sewu (pictured)? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:31, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
