Hu Die

[edit]

Hu Die Hu Die

  • ... that "Movie Queen" Butterfly Wu (pictured) became the mistress of China's spy master Dai Li and the mother-in-law of President Li Zongren?
  • Reviewed: Chris Wu
  • Comment: Can't decide which photo is better, so listing both. For Women's History Month.

5x expanded by Zanhe (talk). Self nominated at 10:40, 26 February 2015 (UTC).

  • Assuming the expansion began on 24 February, text was at 2098, thus is long enough with 10497 for 5x expansion, and new enough. Does not appear to have close paraphrasing, is neutral and sources are cited. Article appears to be classed as a stub, which should be corrected and though I am able to verify the 2nd part of the hook in the article cited, the first part of the hook is not available on-line in the source given. I did find an alternative source for the information, [1] Both images appear in commons listed as public domain. Interesting article! SusunW (talk) 23:56, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks for your review, SusunW. I've fixed the stub rating on the talk page. -Zanhe (talk) 01:00, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
  • Wikipedia does not require that the sources be available on line and I was able to verify the hook with an alternate source. As long as it is no longer a stub, we should be good to go. (and for the record, I like the black and white image, but that's just a personal preference.) SusunW (talk) 01:09, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
