Fucus radicans

[edit]

Created/expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self nom at 06:30, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

Article date, hook length, and hook fact all check out. Distance-from-source paraphrasing looks to be adequate. I unlinked the common word species in the hook. This is unrelated to the hook, but I can't see where in Pereyra (2009) it says that the salinity of the open ocean is 35‰. Also unrelated to DYK, this article is open-access, so you could include the image of the species in the article if you were so inclined. Sasata (talk) 16:56, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
I originally put the Pereyra (2009) reference at the end of the paragraph but I have now moved it in slightly. The 35‰ figure actually came from the article Baltic Sea where it was unreferenced. I have now found a confirmatory source and put a new reference for the 35‰ figure in my Fucus article. Thank you for the information on the image. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:15, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Ok, ready for the mainpage. Sasata (talk) 20:59, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
