Falko Bindrich in the 2008 Olympiad

  • ... that chess grandmaster Falko Bindrich (pictured) stands accused of cheating in a tournament game in the 2012 Bundesliga?

  • New and long enough, well-referenced. Hook is cited and referenced. Interesting read, normally not something I'd dabble in, but it is a good article. Jrcla2 (talk) 13:20, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
    • No comment on the photo. Jrcla2 (talk) 13:20, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Undue negative hook for what is largely cited as an unproven accusation. I would strongly hesitate in passing this through. Because there is disagreement between the reviewers, I suggest it be taken to a third opinion. Mkdwtalk 21:36, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
  • but the hook isn't stating that he DID cheat, it's just saying that he stands accused of it. ChessFiends (talk) 21:40, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
  • It's an accusation nonetheless. Anyone can make them and they hold little weight against things like actual rulings. Because the league has made a ruling regarding the cell phone use, you could possibly direct your hook accordingly because that is the official position of 'officials'. That said, negative hooks are rarely promoted and must be very strong in their evidence. Mkdwtalk 22:13, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Oh okay, thanks, how should I change the hook then? Maybe ... did you know that chess grandmaster Falko Bindrich (pictured) was forfeited a game at the 2012 Bundesliga for posessing a smartphone? It doesn't suggest cheating, just that he was forfeited. ChessFiends (talk) 22:36, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
  • I don't think the picture is strong enough compared to the other ones. Also the alt isn't properly formatted and looks like it could use some wikilinks. Mkdwtalk 04:11, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Nominator, please work with the abovementioned criticism, or this nomination will have to be removed.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 19:34, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
  • You can remove it, I found the first hook interesting, but if it doesn't fly, that's fine. :) I don't really know what you've asked of me to improve it. ChessFiends (talk) 19:40, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
