Defeating ISIS
[edit]- ... that Donald Trump said he read the book Defeating ISIS by Malcolm Nance, while a candidate for U.S. president? Source: Colmes, Alan (August 12, 2016), "Nance: ISIS Is Being Torn Apart", The Alan Colmes Show. Quote: "if Donald Trump really read Nance's book as he claims, then he would know why President Obama uses 'ISIL' and not 'ISIS.'"
- ALT1:... that the book Defeating ISIS by Malcolm Nance made The New York Times Best Seller list in 2016? Source: "The New York Times Best Seller list; E-Book Nonfiction; New this week; Defeating ISIS by Malcolm Nance", The New York Times Best Seller list, July 3, 2016.

- Article is long enough, new enough, nominated timely. No copyvios found. I prefer hook Alt1 which is interesting and cited.
Problem: QPQ was not actually done (since you jumped in on a nomination that someone else was already reviewing); you need to do another one. Once that is done the nomination will be good to go.MelanieN (talk) 00:20, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- @MelanieN:Never having had a DYK before, I don't actually have to do a QPQ. I'll probably do another one anyways. Please revisit. Thank you ! Sagecandor (talk) 01:02, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- My apologies! I know you have been creating numerous articles and I was sure I had seen some of them at DYK. My mistake for assuming. (If you had left it blank I would have checked.) This nomination is good to go. MelanieN (talk) 01:10, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you! I'll try to do a few more reviews anyways also, just to help pitch in. Sagecandor (talk) 01:33, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
