Caplan Collection

[edit]

Theresa Caplan with part of the collection.

Created by Awadewit (talk). Nominated by LoriLee (talk) at 13:41, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

  • Hook: Too long. How about ALT1: ... that the Caplan Collection is made up of 32,000 pieces of folk art and toys from 120 countries? Hook fact is cited.
Article: Classified as stub. New enough. AGF on paraphrasing as the majority of sources are offline. Neutral. Images are fine.
Summary: Pending per approval of ALT1 and classification. Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:55, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Article: Added US-Museum-related stub tag. Let me know if this is OK. Thanks! LoriLee (talk) 11:30, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
  • To be on DYK, articles should not be stubs. Right now, it is over the bare minimum of 1500 characters (including spaces), but a little lacking on content. Could you add a bit more? Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:31, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
  • I was wondering about the stub thing, but your notes weren't clear, previously, if it was allowed or not or if it just had to be tagged. I'll try to work on it a bit today. We have way too many sources to sift through, which makes it a major project.LoriLee (talk) 14:36, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
  • Sorry about that. Another 500 chars would be more than enough for DYK purposes. Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:57, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
  • OK great! That's doable today. Certainly wasn't meaning to be curt earlier. Just plowing through the to-do list :). Appreciate you taking the time. It'll be great to have this up.LoriLee (talk) 14:59, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Great! Length is good to go now! Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:56, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
