Butyriboletus, Butyriboletus appendiculatus
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that the butter boletes, such as B. appendiculatus (pictured), are so named for their butter-yellow stalks and pores?

- Comment: If the reviewer could hold off a day or two, I'm sure we can get the pictured species qualified for DYK as well (will add another QPQ at that time). Sasata (talk) 02:55, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
- These two articles are long enough and new enough. I have tweaked the hook because it wasn't at first apparent to me that two articles were being nominated. The image is suitably licensed and the hook sourced. I have marked it with an AGF tick because it does not actually state in the abstract why the genus was so named though it may state this in the full text. Anyway, it is clear by implication. I detected no policy issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:08, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
