... that the Korean stew budae-jjigae(pictured) commonly includes baked beans, Spam, corn, and American cheese? Source: It features Neoguri instant ramen noodles, pork stock, kimchi, rice cakes, Spam, and Kirkland Signature-brand hot dogs, mozzarella, and American cheese.[1] and 사골육수나 닭육수를 부어 끓이다가 돼지고기가 익으면 다진 김치, 콘, 소시지, 스팸, 프랑크소시지, 애호박, 두부 등을 넣어 끓인다. translating to To make budae-jjigae, cut a variety of ham and sausages into large pieces, then add canned beans, sour kimchi, marinated pork, red pepper, zucchini, enoki mushroom, and green onion, then stir-fry the pork in a pan with sesame oil. Comment: As title, this is my second attempt at a nom (first here). The hook and sourcing was previously suggested by Freedom4U, and it's better than my previous one. Also note that there may be a copyvio alert on earwig, but I'd argue the quotes in question abide by WP:NFCCP.
Overall: I remember editing this page in February when it was just a typical food article, so amazing work transforming it into what it is now. And the alerts are just relatively short quotes, so copyvio isn't a factor here. While I feel there are honestly more interesting things to say about budae-jjigae than just the quirky ingredients—I mean, there's a lot to choose from based on what you added—this works as-is, and I'm going to say this is good to go, though if you have more ideas for alt hooks feel free to bring them up. I would also add links to baked beans and corn, but that's just what I'd do. AdoTang (talk) 23:49, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
@AdoTang: Could you please review/approve the image for use alongside this hook...? (Have added above.) Cielquiparle (talk) 03:07, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
@Cielquiparle: Updated review template to consider the image. Seems good to go. AdoTang (talk) 19:11, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
