Unfortunately, the expansion was not sufficient.

Battle of Honey Springs

[edit]
  • ... that the victory at the Battle of Honey Springs enabled the Union to capture Fort Smith and regain control of the Arkansas River valley all the way to the Mississippi River?
  • ALT1:... that the Battle of Honey Springs has been compared to the Battle of Gettysburg in its importance to the outcome of the American Civil War?
  • Comment: A substantial amount of text has been added, but I am unsure whether this is enough to meet the 5X expansion requirement.

  • Thanks for your work on the article. Unfortunately, the expansion was not sufficient. It started out with 6,809 prose characters, and it's currently 11,640. For a five times expansion, it would have to be 34,045. If you can make it a Good Article, you can resubmit it, within seven days of that designation. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 17:46, 1 September 2014 (UTC)
