2022

[edit]

Anyone know what the status of this city is following the Russian invasion of Ukraine? 2A01:799:1660:D300:C34:F197:EA2E:94FB (talk) 00:54, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is now in the area controlled by the Russians :-( (see for example https://menafn.com/1104140278/Invaders-Kidnap-Head-Of-Village-In-Kherson-Region-Regional-Council-Deputy&source=19) Gunnar Larsson (talk) 11:48, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

– Standard romanization of the name according to WP:UKR. There is no reason to ignore this guideline. There is currently no reason to disambiguate by oblast (the disambiguation page should be moved to Zmiivka (disambiguation)). The article was previously moved without discussion in November 2022,[1] after six years with a stable title of Zmiivka.  —Michael Z. 21:00, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reopened 06:51, 21 July 2023‎ (UTC)[reply]

Zmiivka and Gammalsvenskby

[edit]

The page for Gammalsvenskby, apparently a neighborhood of Zmiivka, is way longer than the page for Zmiivka itself, which also weirdly claims that Gammalsvenskby is the Swedish name for the whole village. Should these be merged in some way, or am I missing something? HappyWith (talk) 05:31, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
