New cover photo?

[edit]

Given the station is less than 100 days from opening, does anyone have a better photo of the station? Hopefully something we can carry on using after opening, instead of some cranes over a big hole! I was thinking something like this [1] - can anyone find / or take a copyright free picture of the now completed station? Turini2 (talk) 10:54, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bus service

[edit]

Should York University Bus Loop now redirect here? Editors have been integrating regional and GO Bus information with the new stations on the subway extension and that information now appears to be in the wrong place in comparison to every other connecting bus service. I think it should, along with York University (YRT). They are not very notable on their own and the subway station is a logical place to include the information. –BLAixx 00:34, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Artwork: Piston Effect

[edit]

According to the Public Art tab of the TTC project page: "The artwork is a series of glass panels on the east walls at concourse and the smoke duct above the east trainway. Mounted to the back of these panels are an array of Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) which can dynamically vary in tone between black and white." An on-site visit showed that the panels are on the west walls over the northbound trainway. A CBC News article says "The motion of each incoming train is detected by the LCDs. They then project an image suggesting air movement onto the screens in tones ranging from white to black." This appears to be the case; however, the change in lighting provides a very brief and weak lighting display. TheTrolleyPole (talk) 01:19, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
