Heat treating

Noticed an edit complaining about heat treating, where we have it cited to Voynick. Is "west" in this paragraph wrong

The topo map doesn't show the dike itself. The Gauthier thesis reference (reference #29) includes a detailed map of the dike which extends from a short distance SW of the gulch to the ENE across the gulch. I've tweaked the wording a bit. Vsmith (talk) 14:22, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the creek has eroded a valley through the dike. Early discoveries of sapphires were in placer gravels along the streambed downstream from the dike. Vsmith (talk) 11:42, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Long Intro?
