Merger discussion

[edit]

Request received to merge articles: Yaudheya Kingdom into Yaudheya; dated: Jan 2020.

Proposer's Rationale: e.g. Kuru Kingdom does not have separate articles for the mythological and historical kingdoms.

Discuss here. Chan-Paton factor (talk) 17:54, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected, rather than merging, given that there is no referenced content that is not already here. Klbrain (talk) 21:18, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bahudhanyaka state

[edit]

The region between Indus and Ganges was called Bahudhanyaka and was under the rule of these Yaudheyas. The same region has been called Bhadanaka by Rajshekhar in Tilakmanjari in 10th Century AD. The Bhadana-ka rulers were defeated by the Chauhans of Ajmer in the 12th Century AD and were retired to present day Haryana (and neighbouring regions of Rajasthan). Sorry it wasn’t Tilakmanjari, it was Kavyamimamsa
