Death in childbirth
[edit]This anesthesiologist at Woodhull, Dmitry Shelchkov, made repeated mistakes in delivering babies, one of which finally caused a fatality in 2020. He lost his license in 2021. This death got extensive media coverage and demonstrations by community activists.
