[edit]why remove the official link of windermere island? It does not sell anything, has useful information, has contact info as well as a photo gallery?
Based on WP:EL -- items 1, 6 and 8. Item 1: just because it's supposed to be "official" doesn't make it a unique resource -- the content needs to be justifiable. "No page should be linked from a Wikipedia article unless its inclusion is justifiable." Item 6: access to some of the content is limited to property owners. "Links to sites that require payment or registration to view the relevant content..." Item 8: the only unique content is the photos and they are presented in flash. "Direct links to documents that require external applications (such as Flash or Java) to view the relevant content, unless the article is about such rich media." In general, the island is completely private and the website in question offers little unique content beyond what is already presented in the article. Website reads as promotional / commerical given the style of presentation and the content. SurfsUp (talk) 17:07, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
