Some of the data in this article is taken from the Offering Memorandum for the second JR West IPO, dated March 8, 2004. I'm not sure how this document should be cited, or whether it's worth citing at all (considering that you might not find this sort of thing in your local library). - Sekicho 14:27, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I saw that a line was commented out in the referring to a GIF of a JR West Logo, but I could not find the file. I uploaded a new graphic from JR West source material, and added it to this page. I couldn't find anything either here or elsewhere that indicated if the file was deleted for some reason or why the image wasn't used. If there is some problem with using a low resolution image of the JR West logo, then I appologize. Otherwise, I think it makes a nice addidtion to the page. Personally, I like the apperance of the JR logo. Hosikawafuzi 20:59, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe there should be some sort of reference to http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Amagasaki_rail_crash  ? DNAdiver Jan 08 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dnadiver (talkcontribs) 15:09, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Official Abbreviation Has Already Changed to "JR-West"

[edit]

The official abbreviation of West Japan Railway Company has been changed to JR-West explicitly[1] since sometime in October 2011[2]. Thus, there is need to correct the abbreviation JR West entirely. KU (talk) 15:32, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thanks for pointing out the change. I've updated the article to use the hyphenated form. --DAJF (talk) 23:39, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
