Every president since Roosevelt?[edit]

The article claims that every president since FDR has given a weekly address. But news coverage in 1982, when Reagan first began his weekly radio addresses, implied that this was something not done in recent years. I can't find any evidence that Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Ford, or Carter did anything similar on a regular basis. And if they gave their weekly addresses but not on the radio, how did anyone hear them? --Metropolitan90 (talk) 06:05, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Weekly Radio Address of the President of the United StatesWeekly address of the President of the United States – See discussion above. Interstellarity (talk) 18:35, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support There's no one obvious WP:COMMONNAME here. "weekly address" and "weekly radio address" both occur commonly in RS, along with a variety of other forms. I slightly prefer "weekly address" because "weekly radio address" has the potential to be confusing to readers, given that it's been broadcast through other media in recent years, and is thus a bit of an anachronism. (Also, decapitalizing 'address' is definitely the way to go, to match RS usage.) Colin M (talk) 21:08, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
