The Polish name is Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego. "Szkoła Główna" means "Main School", but "Gospodarstwo Wiejskie" in English means just any farm i.e. "an area of land, together with a house and buildings, used for growing crops and/or keeping animals as a business"[1]. The wording "Life Sciences" is a wrong translation.
Life sciences are concerned with the study of living organisms, including biology, botany, zoology, microbiology, physiology, biochemistry, and related subjects.[2].
BTW "Main school of rural economy" is a little bit better but still not good. 85.193.194.118 (talk) 02:53, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
