Listing

[edit]

Is it really necesary to write out every single rules the character breaks? And I'm pretty sure its wrong to say 'breaks warnings such as: *lists every warning*' but I could be wrong.

I don't think it is neccesary for every warning to be listed. Kokiri kid 09:47, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the walking contradiction video has the same prob, listing everything that happens--Greenday21 (talk) 00:39, 20 April 2008 (UTC)Greenday21[reply]

Sounds a lot like The Kinks' song "Picture Book"

"Downright plagiarism!" Strong resemblance? It only takes listening to both songs (the Kinks' 'Picture Book' and 'Warning') to be 115% positive that Green Day STOLE the riff. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.114.237.54 (talk) 22:08, 8 August 2010 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Catherine.chapman17 (talkcontribs) [reply]

For the sheer fun of it. Go listen to Galt MacDermots "Hare Krishna/Be in" from the Musical "Hair" in the mid-section you'll notice a melody that'S even closer to that used in "Warning" And Hair is from 1967, so The Kinks probably stole too.178.1.195.45 (talk) 16:04, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Genre

[edit]

the song warning is not a pop punk song! there is no e-guitar! its with a acoustic guitar!—Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.167.220.117 (talkcontribs) 20:44, 26 March 2007

There is no need for an electric guitar to be present for a song to be considered of punk influence.--JUDE talk 04:59, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OH MY GOD!! i cant play punkrock with a acoustic guitar!!!!!! rock is rock when a e-guitar is in the song! you can't play rock with a acoustic guitar! and punkrock too!!! the song warning is a popsong! you are a chartpunk or wannabe-punk! they play pop onthe warning album! live with it!

YOU DON'T HAVE A GOOD REASON TOO! OMG!! WARNING IS A POP-PUNK!!LOOL SAY IT TO A PUNK!! HE WOULD LAUGHS!!!LOOOOOOOOOOOOL—Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.93.144.66 (talkcontribs) 16:12, 30 March 2007

I'm not entirely sure I understand your accusations of "reason". Could you explain them further please? I'm also not sure where you would actually find said "Punk" these days. Punk has spread into an encompassing blanket of people from all walks of life. They look different everywhere you go, and no punk would ever tell you that they're punk.--JUDE talk 18:27, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

please just listen first to the song warnig and than you can change the style but you already know!! this song is just pop or acoustic^^

there is no way in hell this song is folk punk, changing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BEATWEAKer (talkcontribs) 23:25, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Music Video Information

[edit]

Should the music video link (to youtube) be moved from the infobox to the music video section, or should they both be present? also, if someone has the chance, please fix that infobox coding. Catherine.chapman17 (talk) 15:11, 7 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
