Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. --IllaZilla (talk) 23:23, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
Please refrain from changing genres without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. --IllaZilla (talk) 23:29, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Redundant (song), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Genres
[edit]Hi. As an experienced Wikipedian whose has worked on band and album articles for years, let me give you some advice: There is almost no faster way to make enemies on Wikipedia than to go around changing the genres in infoboxes across many articles. The "genre" field of musical artist and album infoboxes is a notorious battleground for POV-pushers and edit-warrers, and repeatedly changing genres to suit one's own point of view inevitably leads to being blocked. Instead, if you disagree with the genres listed in an infobox, I recommend following these steps:
- Read the article to see if the artist/album's musical style is discussed, and if the statements about it are sourced. In good articles and featured articles you will generally find this to be the case, but for lesser-quality articles you often won't.
- If the article lacks a section discussing the artist/album's musical style, start one. Search for reliable sources discussing the genres and styles associated with the artist/album, and write some prose into the article about these and cite the sources. For advice on sourcing, see WP:RS and WP:CITE.
- The infobox is supposed to reflect the sourced content of the article body, so once you've written some sourced prose discussing the genre or style, adjust the infobox to reflect what the prose and sources say. Sources shouldn't go in the infobox, they should go in the article body alongside prose discussing the genre (see WP:IBX for more on the role of infoboxes).
- If disagreements arise with other editors, start a discussion on the article's talk page. Don't edit war, but instead discuss the problem in order to reach a consensus.
Genre warriors are tenacious and generally care little for anyone's opinions but their own. The only way to truly arrive at a stable listing of genres in an infobox is to do some research, write some well-referenced prose, and make sure the infobox reflects that prose. That way you've built a foundation based on reliable sources, one that trumps editors' personal opinions. I hope you find this advice helpful; please drop me a note on my talk page if you have questions or need any help. --IllaZilla (talk) 00:03, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You were already blocked for this once, and I left you a thorough explanation above of how to properly address genre disputes. Yet you just went through dozens of articles making, once again, completely unexplained genre changes. Stop now or you will be reported. Full stop. --IllaZilla (talk) 01:44, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 00:16, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Rename request
[edit]BEATWEAKer → BefeetER
[edit]Status: In progress
- Current username: BEATWEAKer (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · target logs · block log · list user · global contribs · central auth · Google) (ping user)
- Target username: BefeetER (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · target logs · block log · list user · global contribs · central auth · Google) (advise user)
- Previous renames: current user, target user, Queue: open req, closed req
- For renamer use: Email target username, usurp user, rename user
- Datestamp: 20:48, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
- Reason: This current username is the username of someone else I remember online. I don't like to have this name and I would like to have a different name, especially to not look like an imposter or anything like that. I am blocked from editing. However, I want this username and a few other accounts I've used as abuse to have a name changed. Because I couldn't delete the 3 accounts I want renamed. I just want them renamed. I don't want to be unblocked, just this account needs a rename.

Your draft article, Dogs of War (The Exploited)
[edit]Hello BEATWEAKer. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled Dogs of War (The Exploited).
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Dogs of War (The Exploited)}}
, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:01, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
