This article Wangkhei phee was created/expanded as part of the 2016 Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon, an initiative to improve the quality of India's Geographic Indication articles. Further details about the event can be found here.
A fact from Wangkhei phee appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 27 May 2016 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Wangkhei Phee, a fabric woven by women of Manipur, is made of fine white cotton yarn with a closely-woven texture and is totally transparent?
How can anything be "totally transparent"?
The source for that claim states the fabric is "fully transparent", and, even though that is also questionable, it is more acceptable than some kind of "total transparency". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.127.65.2 (talk) 12:25, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
