It's true that this article is currently based primarily on The Songs of the South, by David Hawkes. This, indeed, is the one source cited for verification of the material, and more citations from other sources equally or more reliable (if any) would be a most welcome improvement to the article. However, I think the footnotes are adequate to indicate which pages in this reference source have been cited, thus making clear the source page numbers for the material in this article on the pre-Common Era Han dynasty author Wang Bao (especially in the case of actually consulting the reference cited). At least at this point, in the interest of article curation, and to avoid a false impression about the verifiability and reliability of its contents, I am reducing the article maintenance tagging, which constituted the second edit of the article's history.
