Domesday
[edit]The Victoria History, with its meticulous research, says that it is not listed in Domesday, whereas the longstanding text says that it is. Maybe it is listed under Simpson? Could someone check and put it back if it can be cited. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 13:22, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit]For some reason, many grid squares within this CP have their own Wiki entry. We need to be consistent and move these to the Walton page. Discuss. (If the consensus is for, or I hear nothing for some time, I will go ahead) --30gl (talk) 17:29, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
- As per my comments in the article talk pages, I support this proposal, except for Walton Hall, which is notable in its own right.--John Maynard Friedman (talk) 12:41, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
- I had not considered merging this article seeing as it had historical value. The other three are just generic Milton Keynes grid squares. --30gl (talk) 16:31, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
Twelve years later and wiser, I conclude that the Walton Hall article will only ever be a stub and is not of itself notable: any notability attaches to the OU campus. So I have boldly merged it. --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 17:21, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
