Requested move 14 September 2022

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The result of the move request was: Moved to WEGO (Niagara Falls). Per 162 etc.'s suggestion. Moving to WEGO per nomination has been opposed because it is deemed not be the WP:PTOPIC over the radio station and others at Wego. If the subject is not notable enough and if deletion is merited, feel free to start an WP:AFD. WEGO Niagara Falls Visitor TransportationWEGO – While it may be the official name as cited in the 2013 RM, people usually call this WEGO so I think that would be the common name. Examples: [1][2][3][4] and as far as I can tell none of the articles listed at Wego use the capital letters other than WEGO (AM). Thoughts? There's also the potential issue of notability here but assuming that this article isn't eventually deleted (I'm not super familar with what transit-related outcomes are like but a lot of the coverage I've seen in my superficial glance is closer to passing mentions than susbstantial), I think it should be moved to a different title. Clovermoss (talk) 23:42, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There's a lot of these Canadian transit-related articles; Category:Transit agencies in Ontario has dozens, and that's just one province. Up to you if you want to take on the job of sending everything to AfD... 162 etc. (talk) 01:37, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Transfers

[edit]

The regional website says we can transfer for free to the red line. A telephone call to the city, confirms that we can also transfer for free from local buses. And apparently one can also transfer back for just $3. Jidanni (talk) 00:02, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information on routes is completely outdated

[edit]

There have been multiple changes to the routes in real life since the page was created. However, sources are generally unreliable and as well I cannot actually find a source for stop lists and frequency within the page. I believe the section should be deleted (or at least more generalized) for being unsourced. As well I am sure many people who try to use the system may get confused at the outdated information. Humulator (talk) 01:43, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The entire "Routes" section was 100% unsourced and I've deleted it. Per WP:PROVEIT, content must be supported by a citation to a reliable source. 162 etc. (talk) 16:31, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thanks.
I'll also change "Fleet" as some of it is also unsourced/outdated. I will also re-add the transfer of routes as it is properly sourced. Note: The source I provided also includes the Red, Green, Orange, and Blue lines, however does not show where they go necessarily. Humulator (talk) 19:09, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
