This article states that this model has been on sale since May 2012 which is true, but the delivery of those cars started at the beginning of September 2012 --193.147.239.254 (talk) 18:43, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

Could the article's title be changed to "Volvo V40 (2012-)". The car went on sale in 2012.

Is production ending 2019?

According to the new title it seems like production is ending 2019. The article does not mention this. Can it be confirmed and perhaps added to the article? Philaweb (talk) 14:18, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

Volvo's global English site has a page for the 2020 V40 https://www.media.volvocars.com/global/en-gb/models/v40/2020NGKanzen (talk) 07:44, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

why this car is no longer produced?

i love so much the Volvo V40, but why it got discontinued, it was a good compact car/subcompact executive car, in spanish wikipedia says that the Volvo V40 is still in production, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalininos (talkcontribs) 22:03, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
