Native American women

[edit]

There are enough sources for this section to eventually become its own article. Though I can't do this at this time I will collect sources here. Best Regards, Barbara   14:08, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working on expanding the Native American women section more substantially. I've added section on frameworks to understand the violence as well as more statistics and more history on the sterilization of Native American women. There is much more information that can become another article such as the violence during colonization and other major time periods in U.S. history. My additions are fleshing out the article but in no way encapsulates all the information there is on violence against Native American women. Digit2334 (talk) 22:32, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnicities: More information needed

[edit]

This article only discusses about Native Americans and immigrant communities in which women and girls suffer domestic abuse. What about White Americans? What about Hispanics? African Americans? Surely domestic abuse is universal in that country. It isn't like Sweden or Finland. I saw several reports and anecdotes of White American and African American women being victims of domestic abuse and gender based violence. ShawarmaFan07 (talk) 23:32, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
