Place letters?

[edit]

Latvian plates have the form 2 letters-4 numbers, e.g., JO-1234. Would the JO indicate anything, for example the place of registration? Tsinfandel (talk)

No, they have no relation to where the car was registered. Ivario (talk) 11:17, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Do some cars with USDM mounts use C-Type license plates?

[edit]

I've seen many cars that have USDM mounts (usually imports or unpopular types of vehicles like full size pick-up trucks) use license plates that look similar to C-Type license plates but using any letter combination outside of T* as with motorcycles. I don't remember seeing anything specific on this on CSDD's website, so should this be added regardless? 185.65.37.26 (talk) 01:42, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
