Fair use rationale for Image:METRORail Uptown Line.jpg

[edit]

Image:METRORail Uptown Line.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Color in the article text

[edit]
In response to a 3O request, I'd say that use of the color is not necessary and not advisable, per advisement from this style essay. I don't find that changing the text color imparts any additional information, and could be considered distracting. Having the gold color in the infobox is easily sufficient, IMO.
Also, IP editor, User:69.181.249.92, should learn the difference between a content dispute and vandalism. IMO, it is highly inappropriate to issue vandalism warning templates to a user when no vandalism exists (per WP:AGF and WP:VAND#NOT and policy against "Accusations about personal behavior that lack evidence"). Thank you very much, sir. You were quite helpful. Thank you for the information from the style essay. Oliver kanjo (talk) 17:40, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Updates post-opening

[edit]

Howdy friends! I renamed this page METRORapid Silver Line and updated some info to reflect Silver Line's construction and recent opening. History section could probably use more detail, I may or may not get around to adding it myself. Infobox still uses light rail template, but there isn't one for a bus rapid transit line and im too lazy to make one CLFinch19 (talk) 06:36, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

CLFinch19, use Template:Infobox bus line in this case. SounderBruce 06:44, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
