[edit]The following editors comment was cut from the article page for move here. It was added by an IP user in 2007: "I SAILED AS A NAVAL RESERVE HOSPITAL CORPSMAN. WE SAILED FOR A TWO WEEK TRAINING CRUISE OUT OF BROOKLYN NAVAL SHIPYARD. I BELIEVE THE CRUISE TOOK PLACE IN SEPTEMBER OR THEREABOUTS OF 1951. WE ENCOUNTERED A FIERCE HURRICANE OFF CAPE HATTERRAS. THE USS OSBERG DID 49 DEGREES AT THE WORST IT TOOK THREE DAYS TO PASS THROUGH THE HURRICAN AS WE HAD TO SLOW DOWN JUS ENOUGH TO KEEP THE BOW INTO THE STORM. WE WERE WITH THE USS RIZZI AND USS ALLEN. I MAY NOT BE CORRECT ON THE ALLEN. THERE WERE THREE DE's TOGETHER. WE HAD TO STOP IN KEY WEST TO REFUEL BECAUSE WE USED UP TO MUCH FUEL IN THE HURRICANE. WE THAN PULLED INTO HAVANA, CUBA FOR A THREE DAY LIBERTY. WE THAN SAILED BACK TO BROOKLYN NAVAL YARD."
Perhaps it can give clues for expansion of the article.--S. Rich (talk) 19:02, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
