What Turner was associated with this fort?

This article names Abner Turner, but the YouTube site cited claims Asa Turner. Abner Turner is an established figure of Clarke County. Did he have a second name Asa? He had no brother or son named Asa. I have seen many records for Abner, but never run across the name Asa (I wasn't looking for it).
