The Best Track data lowers Grace's peak to 55 knots, but takes it 50.7 degrees north, with no indications that it was extratropical. Leave Message, Yellow Evan home

Info concerning operational vs. after the fact storm designations

[edit]

I personally find this interesting information, even if it is potentially embarassing. It might be worth adding similar information into other tropical cyclone-related articles. Thegreatdr (talk) 00:55, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GAN

[edit]

I think it's ready for GAN now. Lots of good info, easily the most comprehensive account of the storm available. Also, there are a couple pictures of the storm's outskirts on Flickr, which I've requested be released under a more compatible license. –Juliancolton | Talk 18:30, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Everything looks to be in order now. Lots of useful info, well-sourced and well-composed. I'd suggest taking it to FAC sometime. –Juliancolton | Talk 20:45, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Map

[edit]

FWIW, here is a self-made and approximate map of the three northeasternmost-forming TCs. –Juliancolton | Talk 01:49, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Meteo France

[edit]

Judging by this press release it seems that Meteo France thought that operationally Grace was a subtropical cyclone.Jason Rees (talk) 04:26, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
