Should Debby & Debbie's list of storm name pages be merged?
[edit]Debby and Debbie sound the exact same, but with different spelling. Should the two pages be merged? Something similar happened to Sara when there was a Sarah and Sara. Thus, this was a good question to have here.
I have a good draft page too created for the merge: Draft:List of storms named Debby. Plus, as the page as it is, it is super short. It would also improve the length of the article if both pages merged. In addition, Debbie retired in Australia too. YoyoIveGotXP (talk) 15:50, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- Actually, the article "List of storms named Sarah" has been around for several years, while the redirect page "List of storms named Sara" is a recent creation, and was created as a redirect. Having separate articles for Debby and Debbie, both long-existing articles, is similar to there being separate articles for storms named Ann and those named Anne, or for storms named Ira and those named Irah.
