Currently the article starts out with

The triple correlation of an ordinary function on the real line is the integral of the product of that function with two independently shifted copies of itself:

From the wording, I don’t see why there is an asterisk on the first function. If it is there for a reason, it should be defined and its presence explained (and otherwise it should be deleted). Loraof (talk) 20:59, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
