Minor rewrite/additions of office locations
[edit]In the first paragraph, sentences 4 and 5 are incorrect. Propose keeping first three (ending in ....Sydney in 2010.) and adding the following three: By 2023[JM1] , the company extended its EMEA presence to Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Israel, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. In APAC, Tricentis has additional offices in Singapore, South Korea, India, and Melbourne, Australia. - We're not going to replace the article with promotional content. Also, you must address the paid disclosure requirements as outlined on your user talk page. Failure to do so means you are in violation of Wikipedia's terms of use. MrOllie (talk) 20:18, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi MrOllie! I understand that you don't want promotional content, but everything that I added was fact. There is no promotional language. The products are the products, for example. As the current Tricentis entry stands, it is incorrect in a few places. How can we go about having the company's details reflected accurately? JennyMc66 (talk) 20:28, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- The whole thing is obviously promotional, it is written like a product brochure. Since this is an encyclopedia, not a brochure, that is a problem. MrOllie (talk) 20:39, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! Revisiting this topic in March 2024. As I have disclosed, I am employed by Tricentis. Information on the Tricentis page is incorrect. That's why I (and other Tricentis employees before me) have attempted edits. We have no wish to run afoul of your editorial rules; we just would prefer that our company be accurately reflected here. (For example, we are not an Austrian company. Several products that are listed are no longer on the market. Our office locations are incorrect. We have made several acquisitions since the last one listed in 2021.) How can we update the listing so that it is correct without breaking the rules? I assure you that I have no interest in adding what was termed as 'promotional language.' I understand that this is not a product brochure, and it is not our intent to pull a fast one on Wikipedia. Can someone please advise me on the best way to move forward?
Thank you, Jennifer McCarthy JennyMc66 (talk) 16:59, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
- You can request edits, here on this talk page, in a 'change X to Y' format. See Wikipedia:Simple conflict of interest edit request for detailed instructions. If you request simple factual updates with accompanying citations that should be fine. If you make more requests to add promotional content to the article, those will continue to be rejected.
