History question

[edit]

I found this on line. It differs from the Wikipedia text. "United States Coast Guard Cutter TANEY is the last surviving warship afloat today from the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Home ported in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1937, the cutter was converted to military duty during World War II and saw action in the Pacific, Atlantic and Mediterranean. Refitted into a Coast Guard patrol cutter in the post-war years, TANEY carried out ocean weather patrol, law enforcement and search and rescue missions. Decommissioned in 1986, she is now a National Historic Landmark, displayed in Baltimore's Inner Harbor." Last survivor or one of two from Pearl Harbor? 7&6=thirteen () 14:55, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
