Transmission Suite (album) → Transmission Suite – Current name without "(album)" at the end is a redirect page (Transmission Suite). DiscoA340 (talk) 21:38, 5 May 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. EggRoll97 (talk) 23:12, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose This band is pretty obscure. A transmission suite is used for acoustic testing https://acoustictesting.salford.ac.uk/acoustic-laboratories/transmission-suite/ this album is an album. In ictu oculi (talk) 17:48, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- @In ictu oculi A simple google search titled "Transmission Suite" shows pretty varied results between 808 State and a "transmission suite."
If that is a problem, then the new title could be Transmission Suite (808 State album), butit would still leave the redirect which links to 808 State. Have a great day! DiscoA340 (talk) 18:28, 7 May 2023 (UTC)

- Comment The previous article at Transmission Suite was merged in 2021, based on notability concerns[1]. I agree with that assessment, and the current Transmission Suite (album) should probably go to AFD. 162 etc. (talk) 03:57, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- As said previously, there is a lot of information about this album online. It should be pretty notable since it is a studio album, but, more references can be found. Have a great day! DiscoA340 (talk) 11:20, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- Comment I'm not 100% on naming convention but I did find this on Wikipedia:Article titles; "When such navigation aids are in place, small details are usually sufficient to distinguish topics, e.g. MAVEN vs. Maven; Airplane! vs. Airplane; Sea-Monkeys vs. SeaMonkey; The Wörld Is Yours vs. other topics listed at The World Is Yours." Correct me if I'm wrong but, using this ruling, "Transmission Suite" (the album name) is already distinguishable from "Transmission suite" (Soundproofing) due to the lowercase "s" in "suite." Have a great day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by DiscoA340 (talk • contribs) 03:39, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- WP:SMALLDETAILS has seen mixed support in RM discussions, and when dealing with a low-notability topic such as this one, capital letters are often judged to be insufficient disambiguation. See Talk:Grey Goose (vodka) for a much higher-profile article that was recently determined to need parenthetical disambiguation. 162 etc. (talk) 16:34, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- I see why that could be an issue. I definitely think that, if the current name stands, the old redirect should be deleted to reduce confusion with Soundproofing. Have a great day! DiscoA340 (talk) 03:17, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose, since I didn't actually !vote yet. 162 etc. (talk) 16:35, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
